Hi, I'm Aurelien Gerault, a Software Engineer at Apple. I am part of the IS&T team and contributed to the development of Ask IS&T (ACT), a native macOS application built with Swift and SwiftUI that empowers Apple IT support staff with seamless in-person support capabilities at physical sites worldwide. I led the implementation of Kiosk Mode end-to-end, designed the data models for a full backend migration, and delivered multiple independent features across the app.
Since joining Apple in 2018, I've worn many hats: supporting VIP customers in AppleCare, leading and mentoring teams as a Manager Apprentice, ensuring quality excellence in emergency support channels, providing technical solutions for 600+ internal systems, and contributing to Apple Intelligence initiatives. Each role has sharpened my ability to bridge technical expertise with people-focused problem-solving.
